Host unit 155 Borden Gray G.C. Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron took top honours over the weekend in a Canadian Cadet Movement competition at the Sault Ste. Marie Armoury.
The competition involved 200 cadets and officers from Sault Ste. Marie, Huntsville and Blind River in events including precision drill, volleyball, marksmanship, floor hockey, obstacle course and first aid.
The Canadian Cadet Movement is comprised of the Royal Canadian Sea, Army and Air Cadet organizations.
It operates in partnership with the Canadian Forces and the civilan Navy League, Army Cadet League and Air Cadet League of Canada.
The movement’s primary goals are to promote leadership, citizenship and physical fitness among Canadian youth aged 12-18 years.
