Kincheloe AFB, Michigan, USA, 1977 This photograph was taken when the 155 visited Kincheloe AFB in Michigan. Kincheloe AFB is mainly a Bomber and Fueling base for the American Air Force. In the past it has given us many tours and demonstrations including an airshow featuring the famed American Thunderbird Team. Unfortunately 1977 is its last year in operation as the base is being transferred to other American units. We wish Kincheloe a sincere farewell and thanks for all the tours and help they have given us. Members of the 155 left – right; I. Smith; B. McCarthy; and Squadron Leader Bruce Ness

And how we love parades. The black armbands worn by Wing Commander Foster and Flight Leader Cameron were for the mourning of the death of King George VI of England
This is our Commanding Officer Captain Bruce Pearce. We thought it appropriate that his photo be taken while he was at work thinking up new activities for the squadron, a task formable for any commanding officer. Captain Pearce took command of this squadron, from Major Bruce Ness, in 1971 and will be retiring as commanding officer in January 1978. If the new CO can keep up the tradition that Captain Pearce has retained, our squadron is assured to be the best.
